The famous car company from France – Renault published the first official images and technical data about its new car. Wind model is an open Renault Roadster, which was created on the platform of the popular new hatchback “Twingo”. The debut representation of a new car should take place in early spring at the International Geneva Automobile Exhibition.
Open Renault Wind is not a large class, 383 centimeters long (23 cm longer than Twingo. The new car is equipped with a metal roof, which in only twelve seconds can rise from a special department in the trunk area. It is interesting to note that regardless of the condition of the roof (raised or lowered), the volume of the luggage compartment does not change and amounts to 270 liters, for comparison Twingo had only 230 liters. This option has become possible through the use of a unique rise mechanism. A similar technology of the eliminating top was used in the car “Ferrari 575 Superimrain” super.
Open Renault Wind for European automobile markets exists with two to choose by power units.
