On October 16 and 17, an international conference on the transportation of dangerous goods was held in Odessa on October 16 and 17. Violation of the transportation of dangerous goods, on an international scale, gave an impetus to the conference, where representatives of Russia, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Latvia and other CIS countries participated. From Ukraine, representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport, Marine and River Inspectorate, an international organization responsible for the transportation of dangerous goods were present.
During the conference, the participants exchanged experience, thanks to which safe transportation of dangerous goods was carried out. The meeting participants provided partners, legal framework for studying. Such an exchange of experience effectively affects partnerships and helps to create safe transportation of dangerous cargo.
This was the first international conference to collect caring people from almost all the CIS countries and Bulgaria to create a coordination center that can analyze and manage the movement of dangerous goods, solve problems that have arisen during the transportation of an unusual cargo. It was also proposed that this center be endowed with powers, thanks to which, problems that are not prescribed in the legislation of countries will be solved regarding the transportation of dangerous goods.
Employees of the Center will cooperate simultaneously with suppliers, carriers and recipients of dangerous cargo. In the event of extraordinary situations, representatives of the Center, will cooperate with the authorities of the country in which the situation arises so that one can quickly solve the problem. Such cooperation of countries will only improve the transportation of dangerous goods, ensure safe movement, will contribute to strengthening partnerships.
