The organizers of the Easykart series – Italy published and introduced technical identification cards for new engines of the brands of VMV classes 60C (ECL), 100ss (EKJ), 125ss (EKA) and the new Shiatter cylinder. With a comparative analysis of IAME and BMB engine structures, the identity of the main structural parameters can be noted, with the exception of the lengths of connecting rods, the aluminum gears of the starter, as well as the presence of additional balancer shafts in 100ss and 125CS engines, respectively, with drive gears in a crankcase and an increased siz. Due to the use of wings – air intakes on cylinders, a decrease in temperature tension in the release zone should be expected. The ignition coil is placed in the same place. There is no steel plate between the engine and the engine support. The diameter of the trial tin wire is indicated to determine the clearance between the cylinder head and the piston – 1.5 mm!
In the 2019 season, technical cards to the indicated engines that are not translated into Russian will operate in Russia from 01.04. 2019. In parallel with technical cards on IAME engines.
In connection with the novelty of the newly introduced engines and their operation, subsequent additions and extensions in the above technical maps should be expected. So, for example, there is no indication of maximum revolutions when the clutch is triggered and there is no difference in the marking of the clutch for class 60ss and 125ss. The drawing of a balancer shaft for the engine 100ss and 125ss and the cover for ignition with installation positions was not given. There are no important sizes on crankcase and engines cylinders. However, new engines already exist for real automobile enthusiasts to master and understand their features – this is a matter of honor and, of course, this will contribute to a further increase in the level of qualification of mechanics and racer.
The new cylinder for Shifter, by all signs, has become more neatly made in terms of the coincidence of the sleeve and shirt. Judging by the size of the bypass and final windows and their shape, it must have a slightly greater power compared to the previous option. There should be a small notch in the channels to prevent any improvement.
