Journalists of the Swedish publication Teknikens Vardt tested Honda CR-V

  • May 24, 2017

I am against idealization. It is harmful because it does not reflect realities. In the world, everything is much more difficult and more complicated, for any acquisition you most often need to fight. And wild nature and death. It’s just that we, modern people, weaned from those harsh realities and think of categories much more pleasant. And automakers fully reflect the real state of society, with their disadvantages and advantages.

Such an introduction was what this. Journalists of the Swedish edition of Teknikens Vardt tested the post-orch version of the Honda CR-V SUV. Sprayed the lack of adhesion of the front wheels with the road for the all -wheel drive version of the car. It turned out that this state of affairs leads to a car stop: the rear -wheel drive in such a situation does not pull out the car from the problem situation.

The reaction of Honda representatives was interesting: they consider the unrealistic seitaration proposed on tests. When driving along roads and outside them, the front bridge will never be posted completely. To which journalists are reply that everything is quite believable and real.

I immediately note that we are talking about the reputation of a solid company, which it will not take risks. So I am sure that Honda engineers checked the assumption and consider their position the only true. And what about journalists? As on me, the main task of any writing \ watching person is to “hook” the reader or spectator. And we have been tempted by you recently, we just do not make us. So you have to think, look, find non -standard solutions. And not the fact that they are right – rather, the initiators of the discussion of problems are the initiators.

As to me, speech should be in a slightly different context: when the front -wheel drive enters the state of very small resistance, whether the rear will work fully or will protect itself from overheating? After all, Honda CR-V engineers are talking about setting up precisely to maintain the performance of automatic transmission. Will it turn out that it is hit by such situations that is fraught with a stuck? We get a real situation when the load on the front axle for example 5%.
