Parquet board is currently one of the cheapest varieties of parquet. This does not speak about her poor quality. The material is not made of whole wood, but of several horizontal layers (usually two or three), reliably glued together. The lower layers are made of cheap wood species, while the upper finish layer is expensive wood.
Outwardly, such a floor covering is no different from its expensive analogues. But, in addition to the cost of the material itself, significant savings are also felt during installation. Parquet board more in appearance resembles a laminate. It is also equipped with a PAZ-PAZ castle system and does not require the use of glue. It is enough that the surface on which the material will be laid is solid and even. A substrate is laid on it to increase heat and waterproofing. Put a parquet board according to the same principle as a laminate. This allows you to significantly save time, and sometimes money, because if you wish, this can be done independently without resorting to the help of specialists.
After laying, the floor surface does not need cycling, grinding, varnish coating and polishing. You can start operating it right away. Over time, small scratches and light damage may appear on the floor surface. They can be eliminated by a cycle -up machine, then covering the surface with varnish or wax. They use a parquet board, as a rule, in residential premises: bedrooms, children’s rooms, halls, living rooms. It is not recommended to lay the flooring in the kitchen, in corridors and other rooms with high human cross -country ability.
A parquet board can be stacked many times if, when installing and dismantling the flooring, follow all the rules.
