Correctly the use of glue will be a guarantee of the execution of all its functions. In this case, it is necessary to remember one important feature – the adhesive composition for drywall sheets has rapid grasping, after about 20 minutes the composition is completely ready for use. On the one hand, this is a significant plus, but at the same time, working with it should be carried out at a fast pace. The flow of adhesive composition is not too large, usually five kilograms of glue are enough per square meter, depending on the structure of the base.
Before starting gluing sheets, it is necessary to carry out preparatory measures, the essence of which is to carry out the measurements of the base and fit the finishing material itself by size. At the same time, the upper and lower five -millimeter gaps must be taken into account. If necessary, measurement is carried out not only in height, but also in the width of the sheets. The sheets are glued with a spatula – they throw a certain amount of glue to the surface. When the sheets are applied to the base, the glue is crushed and distributed in width, forming high -quality fastening of the material. Then the sheets themselves are applied to the surface, while they do not forget about the marks made. When the sheets are glued, they give time to dry the composition before performing further decoration.
